On Saturday, August 9th, the county in Ohio where I grew up is celebrating a Preble County Authors Day. It will be at the Friends Meeting House in West Elkton, 171 S. Main St., from 9 AM till noon. I'll post more details soon.

By August, I'll have a new chapbook of poems to offer you. More details on *that* upcoming, too.

And here's some old business: ALFRED HITCHCOCK'S MYSTERY MAGAZINE PRESENTS FIFTY YEARS OF CRIME AND SUSPENSE (ISBN 1-933648-03-1) was published in 2006. I'm pleased to be represented with a short story, "Sinkhole", especially since most of the other authors are biggies like Donald E. Westlake, Sara Paretsky, Lawrence Block, and Ed McBain.
